HORNETS LOSE TO SURREY IN THE BC FINAL

Unfortunately a Triple Crown didn't materialize for our Division 1 Men this year. A 41-10 loss to Surrey Beavers at the B.C.Championships finished off our incredible season. This was a very tough game versus a well structured strong side and there was nothing to hang your heads about Nanaimo.

Some very strong play from both forwards and backs on the Hornets side but it just wasn't in the cards that day. We need to build on our fabulous season and be ready to get to the dance one more time next year.

We managed to take 75 players and supporters to Abbotsford and regardless of the outcome, a great time was had by all.

Thank you to all the players, coaches and support staff for a wonderful year!!!!!!

"Yoos To Bees" Men's Over 40

The men's over 40's league is for any man aged 40 and up. No experience necessary as most members are "well seasoned" and able to teach the game to any man willing to play. Practices are Thursday nights - 6:30pm to 8pm, After practice on Thursdays, all players from all teams are invited to socialize in our fully licensed clubhouse! Non playing members are also welcome!!

Game days are usually Sundays both home and away. Kick off time is usually 1:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Yearly dues are $210and includes team fees, BCRU insurance & clubhouse membership.
